Heather Stokes can be seen performing at numerous local Nashville venues including Roberts, Second Fiddle, Jim & Layla’s Bluegrass Inn, The Stage, Bull’s Eye Sports Bar, Wolfey’s, Tootsie’s, The Homestead, Rippey’s , and others!

She has a strong, clear voice that can sound playful and exuberant covering the popular traditional and current country, blues, and rock tunes, then turn around to sound longing and vulnerable in original ballads that showcase the depth and range of her voice.  Her Delta upbringing has provided her with the musical roots that allow her to be a versatile and soulful performer.

Heather began singing in church as a small child.  She earned a college scholarship with a touring show choir and landed her first professional position working with an Entertainment Company out of Dallas, TX.  During the summers she maintained a rigorous show schedule dancing and singing at different Theme Parks.  During her last summer she managed the shows at Americana, in Ohio.

After graduating college she moved to NW Arkansas to work with a musical variety "duo".  After about six months, a popular area band “Midnight Rain” recruited her. As a powerful lead and harmony singer, Heather helped this group develop into a well sought after band for a tri-state area. They were a regular attraction at the area’s big country and blues dance venues and opened for numerous recording artists such as Wade Hayes, Ty Herndon, Sons of the Desert, Chad Simmons, and others.

A few years ago, Heather packed up and moved to Nashville.  She won numerous area “new talent” contests at The Nashville Palace, The Broken Spoke, and The Hall of Fame Lounge.  Since this time she worked with a local trio “SASS” at the Crossings, Spiffy's and Tootsie's.  Local songwriters, who are drawn to the clarity and quality of her voice, recruit her to do demos and host local area writer's nights. She has been performing songs for numerous writers including current hit songwriters Danny Wells, Troy Martin, Rick Tiger and others.

Heather has been focused on finding the best songs and musicians to complement her developing style and career. She has been described by people in the industry as a powerful talent who is honest and sincere.  In her own words "I am grateful to be able to continue to pursue what I love, and to do it in an area that so rich in music culture, history, and talent."  For more information regarding this artist or for booking information please call @ 615-207-1033.
